Skerries 10K Race

The Skerries 10K is a scenic coastal run that blends speed with stunning views. Starting at Skerries Educate Together National School, the route winds through the town and along the shoreline, offering a mostly flat course perfect for both seasoned runners and those tackling their first 10K. With chip timing and enthusiastic local support, it’s a race that combines community spirit with competitive energy.

Whether you're chasing a personal best or soaking in the seaside atmosphere, the Skerries 10K delivers a rewarding experience. Water stations are available along the route, finishers who purchase additions at registration will receive a custom medal and race t-shirt. Prizes will be awarded across multiple age categories, so there’s plenty of incentive to push your pace.

Organised by Skerries Athletic Club, this event is more than just a race — it’s a celebration of local running culture. Participants are encouraged to register early, as places fill quickly for this popular springtime event.

Eurospar Skerries 1 Mile Races

The Eurospar 1 Mile races offer a fast, flat dash through the heart of Skerries — ideal for runners of all levels. Whether you're warming up for the 10K or prefer a shorter challenge, this race is a great way to get involved. The one-mile distance is perfect for testing your speed or enjoying a quick, scenic run with friends and family.

Under 16 - 1 mile - 2011/2012

The 1 Mile races are chip-timed and professionally managed, giving every participant a chance to shine. The course is designed for accessibility and excitement, making it a great option for both competitive runners and casual participants.

With a vibrant atmosphere and plenty of local support, the Eurospar 1 Mile is a highlight of race day. Finishers receive medals, and age-category prizes add an extra layer of fun and motivation.

Juvenile Races

The Juvenile Races are all about fun, inclusion, and encouraging young runners to get active. Held alongside the main events, these races cater to a range of age groups — typically including categories for U8, U10, U12, and U14. Each race is tailored to suit the age and ability of the participants, with shorter distances and a supportive environment.
